Belonging to the Gaiardoni family for a century, the property has undergone a number of changes during its 100 year history. Gaiardoni Vittorio purchased the building (then consisting of only one floor) and transformed it into a town tavern. In 1993, Marino, Pierangelo?s son, restored the tavern and opened the bar XXI Secolo (21st century). Marino and his sister Elisa have enlarged and completely restructured the building in the Spring of 2004 and have opened the Hotel al Sole.
