Just a step away from the splendid Piazza del Popolo, the heart of Ascoli, the doors of one of the most prestigious historic town buildings - hotel Palazzo Guiderocchi - have reopened. Once the dwelling place of a local tyrant, and a historical burocratic headquarter, the building has been turned into a charming hotel with 40 rooms, a cafeteria with a warm and friendly atmosphere and the restaurant La Rua dei Notari, thanks to a major renovation of the palace and its frescoes.
