Completely renewed and restructured, located within the most exclusive area in Forte dei Marmi, among the green of pines and holm-oaks, the hotel Regina offers classy hospitality in a friendly and relaxing surrounding.

A tasteful blend of classic and modern gives the environment of the hall, reminiscent of the Art Noveau style, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is contributed to by the polite and professional management and staff.

Open from April to November, the quality of the hotel services is noticeably superior to its three stars classification: spacious halls and American bar, meeting rooms and TV room, lift, large and panoramic solarium-terrace on the first floor, comfortable restaurant with windows overlooking the garden, large private car parking area, open veranda for cocktails and reading, big garden. 

The menu offers an excellent and varied choice of courses, with typical specialities of the Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine.

The renowned Capannina is just round the corner and with a bicycle you can reach in a few minutes the Versiliana, with its big park, art exhibitions, plays and cultural activities.

With its original name of Villa Vignolo and afterwards of Pensione Marchioni, the hotel Regina has been one of the earliest accommodation facilities in the history of Forte dei Marmi and of the whole Riviera della Versilia.

In activity since 1902, the hotel was described by Thomas Mann, who sojourned there in the summer of 1926, in his short novel Mario and the Magician (1930).

With time, the wonderful Art Nouveau frescos that decorated the outside walls have disappeared, and in the Sixties were also destroyed the two crenellated towers that gave the building an evocative pseudo-medieval look.

The recent restructuring of the hotel has recreated those typical towers, using special materials and architectural solutions, with full respect of the original character of the building.
