The Hotel San Niccolò is located in Piazza Ferrucci, in the heart of the old town center of Radda in Chianti, a charming old town in the Siena countryside.

Radda is surrounded by its medieval town walls and is filled with sumptuous sixteenth century palaces that look out onto the winding alleyways and picturesque little squares.

The extremely old Pieve di Santa Maria Novella, full of several works of art, is particularly interesting.

The building that has been turned into the hotel, one of the prettiest in the town, was recently renovated keeping the original structure and has sophisticated, exclusive communal spaces such as the large Hall and the meeting room that has been converted from an old wine cellar.

The rooms still have the feel of the olden days that is part of the hotel, but at the same time they all have all modern comforts.

The restaurant boasts a sophisticated, typical environment where several exquisite dishes are served each day, all made with genuine local ingredients such as the locally-grown vegetables, the local cheeses and salamis, meats from the important "Cinta senese" breed of pigs and extra virgin olive oil made from the centuries-old olive trees that grow in the area.

All the food is accompanied by precious DOC wines coming from the vineyards that line the surrounding hills.
