Hotel Aurora
In 1957 the owners of the well-known “Bar Nunziata”, on the occasion of the “Festival of Two Worlds”, beginning the following year, had the great idea of founding the Pensione Aurora.
Due to the celebrated Festival created by Maestro Menotti, a lot of famous artists, musicians, writers, painters, sculptors, scientists, aristocrats and politicians reached Spoleto.
A lot of them, in the past as well as today, were hosts of the Hotel, even for its privileged position in the historical centre of the city, closed to the theatres and in the same Medieval building where for the last years you can find the Restaurant Apollinare.
The familiar management of the activity have passed through generations. The successors were able to transform Pensione Aurora into Hotel Aurora maintaining the same attention of the founders, but restructuring various times to be always in step.
The Hotel Aurora is now equipped with all the modern comfort and with a small parking, too.
