Many of the ingredients you will have the pleasure of sampling come from our 10,000m2 estate, which is managed directly by the owner of the Hotel, and is where we also produce our excellent D.O.C. Pigato and Rossese wines.
The estate is also home to an ancient olive mill called Gumbu - which once belonged to the Marquises of Carretto - with vintage oil press and stone grinder, donated by our family to the town of Pietra Ligure.
These days, the press and grinder have wisely been transferred to the seafront.
A welcoming lounge and bar area is on hand for you to sample some exceptional limoncello made using our grandma Flo's ancient recipe, which features the highly perfumed lemons from our garden.
