Residence Il Mandorlo
Il Mandorlo is a small tourist complex swathed in greenery in one of the Island’s most natural area.
The owners’ direct management offers the possibility to the customers to find the pleasant and quiet home’s atmosphere also during their holiday.
The beautiful sandy beach of Lacona is only few minutes far by car and the mini market, the bank and the news-stand are about 200 meters far from the residence.
Sitting room with bar, barbecues, children’s park, tennis court, covered parking space and parking place facing the sea are also available for the guests.
Sited in the south centre of the Island, Lacona is one of the seaside resorts most loved by tourists.
Its mildness favours out of season stays and its central position allows people, who want to leave peace and quiet, to reach the most beautiful and lively places in 10 minutes: from Portoferraio to Porto Azzurro, from Capoliveri to Marina di Campo.

There are excellent diving centres, rural routes for trekking and mountain bike lovers, tennis, mini-golf and beach volley.
The riding track is only 2 km. far from Lacona; canoes, sailing and motor boats, bikes, scooters and motorbikes on hire are also available.
The beaches
The headland of Capo di Stella, which is perfect for relaxing walks, divides the most important beaches of the area:
1) – Lacona: sandy beach, particularly suitable for children, with the seabed that gently slopes down. There is a natural park behind which includes the only dunes left on the Island. Here you can choose between public beach or bathing establishments.
2) Margidore: coloured pebbly beach and rocks with harbour for dinghies and small boats.
3) Laconella: 250 meters of sand between beautiful cliffs. Access from the west side of the coast road following the instructions.
