Hotel Villa Sapienza
Villa Sapienza Hotel is a small oasis set between sea and hills, surrounded by palm and century-old trees in perfect harmony with the lush environment of the Riviera dei Fiori and with the elegant Sanremo gardens.
The Villa used to be a convent and its ancient quiet environment still perdures giving those who come here a sense of tranquility amid luxurious and well appointed hotel surroundings.
The architecture is typical of the late1800s, with light mouldings outlining the structure and with typical Liguria balconies; the interior is made up of common spaces such as the very attractive hall, the bar and the very bright restaurant that overlooks the Villa's park as well as the many comfortable reading and TV rooms with fireplace and piano, all decorated in a luxurious style reminiscent of times gone by.
Fine upholstery, wooden floors, predominant light-green and salmon colors make Villa Sapienza a residence of great charm.
The hotel offers additional amenities: there are areas especially designed to welcome guests with different disabilities, there is also an all-purpose room for work meetings, the elevator to access the top floors, the private parking, the private chapel, for those seeking a quiet moment to gather their thoughts during their stay and, at 50 meters from the Villa, the beautiful beach reserved for clients complete with beach chairs and umbrellas.
Restaurant
The large stained glass windows overlooking the Villa's park fill the restaurant with light and is the perfect setting for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Special care was taken to ensure comfort and to provide the right decor as well as a cuisine that offers typical dishes of Italian tradition with particular attention to Liguria and Sanremo recipes and also a healthy diet cuisine.
Selected ingredients come from the Mediterranean sea and land: vegetables and aromatic herbs, fish and white flesh meat are used in the delicious recipes proposed by the chef, accompanied by the traditional focaccia bread flavoured with the "Gold of the Riviera”,extra-virgin olive oil DOC “Riviera ligure” and sprinkled with a good white wine, Pigato or Vermentino, or a red wine like Rossese or Ormeasco, all with rigorous DOC denomination.
