Hotel Mariano

The Mariano Hotel, originally built in 1880 to accomodate the officers of the new born Italian Kingdom and later converted into a hotel, is situated on the Esquilino, one of the seven famous hills of ancient Rome.

The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (432 - 440 A.C.), the Opera Theatre (1880), the Colosseum (72 A.C.), the therms of Diocletian (303 A.C.) and the
Roman National Museum are some of the interesting places to visit close to the hotel.

The central railway station Termini, is within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel . From Termini is possible to reach any point of the city ,thanks to the A and B underground lines and several bus lines.

The hotel is in a very comfortable position for passengers who arrive at Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport thanks to the direct train service from the airport to Termini station.
