Arrival by car...

From Chiasso (frontier Switzerland / Italy) you drive on the expressway to Milan.

In Milan, you have to pay attention to the turnoff to Bologna (A1). After passing about 80 kilometres on the A1 (Parma), you have to take the tunroff towards La Spezia.

After another 100 kilometres, just before La Spezia, branch off towards Livorno (expressway Genova-Livorno) and drive until the gateway Pisa Centro.

Take this gateway and drive further on this four-lane highway (called FiPiLi) towards Firenze.

At the gateway Pontedera (not Pontedera/Ponsacco) you have to leave the FiPiLi anf follow the signs towards Volterra on the road SS 439.

After passing the little village La Sterza is a cross-way where you have to go straight ahead in direction to Saline di Volterra.

From now on you have to pay attention to the milestones on the right side of the road. After the milestone 88 is the entrance to Albergo Poderino S.Cristoforo.

Arrival by plane...

The two nearest airports are Aeroporto di Pisa - Galileo Galilei and Aeroporto di Firenze - Amerigo Vespucci.

The fast train brings you to Pontedera-Casciana Terme.

From there you could reauch us by hired car or by our pickup service.

From Pisa, it takes 45 minutes by car, from Firenze 60 and from Pontedera-Casciana Terme 25 mintues by car.

Arrival by train...

The best way to arrive by train is, travelling to Firenze S.M.N. or Pisa Centrale.

Then you take the fast train to Pontedera-Casciana Terme.

From there you could reach us by a hired car, cab (costs about € 50.-) or by our pickup service.

On demand we could organise a hired car for you.
